T H Racing is a business built out of need and a love for mini motocrossers.
I have had a motocross blood flowing through my veins every since I was a small child. I have been riding on two wheels for nearly 40 years. I was fortunate enough to grow-up in Southern California racing many of the infamous tracks like Saddleback, Carlsbad, Escape Country, OCIR, Corona, Etc. After many years of racing my focus turned to my son’s racing career. Ten years later, it has been a long rewarding road to follow. At 14 years old he has 7 National titles and several State / Series titles to his credit.
After being involved in the highly competitive 50cc - 85cc classes I have learned many, many things about mini racing. The first of which is that there are not enough people that specialize in smaller bikes. Race setup and modifications for these little bikes are not the same as big bikes! They require special needs and often times hand made specialty parts. It also appears that some of the people who have figured how to make these little bikes fly are more worried about making money than helping young riders.
T H Racing started-out as a part time business in our garage that grew into a full time business in less than a year. After 19 years in the computer industry selling high tech software, I left my position as V.P. of Sales and turned my focus to what I love to do. T H Racing specializes in motor and suspension services making mini’s race ready, faster, safer, and more reliable with all work guaranteed!
In late 2007 we brought on board Jack Yost. Jack is no stranger to the motorcycle industry. He has 30 plus years under his belt and more accomplishments than most. He was responsible for Dennis Hawthorne's rain at the top through the 80's with 5 national Areacross titles and a pair of outdoor 500 national titles. He repeated the magic with Grayson Goodman in the 90's while he enjoyed his stay at the top in the national Areacross series. Jack was also responsible for putting together and running the Shogun Motorsports race team and personal mechanic to take Josh DeMuth to back to back titles in 2003 and 2004. Jack was awarded the AMA mechanic of the year title ion 2004. So rest assured that they are no rookies working on your bikes, suspension, or motors.
2008 marked our 9th year as a full-time business. What started out as a one man shop building a few motors and a couple of bikes per month has grown to multiple employees and on average 20 - 25 motors and several complete race bikes per week.
With the growth of of customer base and those that have grown with us over the years I am happy to say that the work with 50's - 85's that put us on the map is now available on 125's - 450's of all brands and the fastest growing segment of our business is now supplying race ready bikes directly to the racers front door.
